There are certain steps which should be followed when developing any kind of website. It may vary from one site to another and also from one designer to another, but the basic steps which should be followed when creating websites are mostly the same.
Some Basic Guidelines
Here are a few simple steps to follow when Creating and Designing dynamic web pages:
Design and Development
When developing a successful website, the primary thing to remember is planning your website design & development. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.
Following are the basic steps you need to bear in mind before creating a website:
- data gathering
- site structure
Define the problem first. What does your website have to achieve? Who is it for? How will they use it? How many visitors do you expect to visit the site? What are their expectations? How can the site grow?
Planning is the foremost thing in which everything has to be decided starting from the definition to the development, selection of design, use of appropriate programming languages, structuring, refining, testing and launching. Use paper and pencil at this stage.
What information will be displayed on your website? do you have it all? how much is there? How will you best structure and deliver the information?
How can you break up the information into bite-sized chunks? How will you group certain types of information? What needs to be accessible at the different levels and structures of your site?
How many levels of navigation will your site need? All sites have primary navigation, but how many levels of sub-navigation are there and how will they be different?
What framework will suit your website best? Will the site need a content management system Will is need to allow for e-commerce? Is it a small or large website? Is interactivity important for your audience? What about graphics, sound and rich media content? All of these decisions will influence how the site is built.
Once the site is built, you will need to analyse what works and what doesn’t/
User testing is an essential but often forgotten aspect of web design. This should be done before the site is launched. Your first customers should never be beta-testers!
Soft launches are a way to get some interaction and feedback before a major push for visitors, but you need a strategy for launching, how will you tell people about your website?
Ongoing website maintenance is also very important. It used to be that creating a website and leaving it on its own was enough. Now the audience expects more and websites require constant managing of updates and content which is why plugins, widgets and blogs keep your web content fresh and updated.
With effective web application design and presence of all these entities, the website should be built without any errors during the time of execution. Today with the increase in Internet usage, products and services are better known online through the respective websites. People visit websites to find out more about various services and products available in the market. Websites play a key role in the success of one’s business. So, the main criterion for success is to have engaging WebPages which attract customers and drive business to your company. This can only be done through engaging website design & development . Designing and developing a website are the basic steps which are followed at the starting up of any business. But it doesn’t end here, because with day-to-day competition in the market and the ease of earning more money, competition is much tougher with rival companies online, so WebPages need to constantly adapt to keep the customers and clients updated with new products and services.
Web application design has to be maintained with simple logic of implementing things in day to day life which make coding simpler and easy without causing much error. There are many Web Designing and Development Services available in the market which understand the business needs and also they choose the most appropriate web applications which best suit the business criteria. They are highly skilled in the programming and scripting languages for which they don’t need much time to create any kind of web page. For them it will be much easier to create WebPages and it will be time consuming for the owners of the company who are much involved in their respective jobs by fulfilling their client’s requirements and projects which come their way.
